Eat veggies and fruit and skip processed foods. The real food fills you up and will keep you healthy. Think about calories like a bank. You only have so many per day so use them wisely. If you spend too much now you have to scrimp later. Have 4-5 small meals a day. You won't get hungry and over eat. Prepare your meals a day in advance, it eliminates bad choices. Plan to work out weekly. Mark it on your calender to keep you accountable. Set short term goals. Make them achievable and reward yourself often (not with food). Don't beat yourself up if you slip. Be patient, change take time. Visualize yourself at your goal weight. This helps with willpower and helps you make smarter choices. Try to strength train twice a week. If you build muscle it will speed up your metabolism.
